Who is to blame?

You see something sweet or pretty or funny and you smile and feel good. It is easy to assign responsibility for what you feel to what you see.

When something bad happens you look for whom or what to blame. And, when you find someone or something to blame, you feel better.

The curious thing about blame is that the only thing that changes when you assign this responsibility is how you think about it.

You change your thinking and your feelings change. Do you see this?

Who, or what, is to blame for how you feel?

There is no one and nothing else responsible for your feelings.

Except you and your thinking.

And, while at first glance it may not seem so, accepting full responsibility for how you feel is liberating.

And, an acknowledgment of who you really are.
