Thinking differently

You think differently.

How you see a thing is not the same as how others may see it.

How you interpret it, the meaning you give it, is based on your thinking and experiences.

You get into arguments because others do not see what you see, do not think and believe as you do.

This is natural.

How you see something is how you see it. It is what you know. What you believe to be true. You hold to the conviction of your beliefs.

You may say to yourself, "Why wouldn't everyone else see it the same way?" Or, "Why shouldn't they?"

This can feel frustrating until you realize how the mind works and that your thinking is yours alone. While the process of mind that brings your thoughts to reality is the same for everyone, the result is different for each.

If you search, you will find some who are like-minded, whose thinking brought them to a similar result as yours did. You will also find others who ended up in very different places, just as convinced of their result as you are of yours.

Each thinking differently. Just like you.

After all, it is just thought.
